How to Measure — Method 1: Finger Circumference

Best time to measure: Measure at the end of the day or when your hands are warm — fingers swell slightly with heat and activity, which gives you a more accurate fit for everyday wear. Avoid measuring first thing in the morning or when your hands are cold.

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper (about 6 mm wide) or use a flexible tape measure.
  2. Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you want to size — the ring should sit comfortably, not tight.
  3. Mark or pinch where the paper overlaps.
  4. Lay the strip flat and measure the length in millimetres — this is your circumference.
  5. Match to the Circumference (mm) column in the table above.

How to Measure — Method 2: Existing Ring Diameter

Use this method if you already own a ring that fits the target finger well.

  1. Place the ring flat on a ruler or measure across the inside of the ring (from inner edge to inner edge) — this is the inner diameter.
  2. Record the measurement in millimetres.
  3. Match to the Diameter (mm) column in the table above.

Tip: Make sure you measure the inner opening, not the outer edge of the band.

Chunky Bands & Wide Rings — Size Up

Wide or thick bands (4 mm band width or more), chunky statement rings, and bold signet-style designs sit higher on the finger and feel tighter than slim bands of the same size. We recommend going one full size up from your usual ring size for these styles. When in doubt, size up — a slightly loose fit is more comfortable and easier to wear than a tight one.
